James Thurber Satire

The Little Girl and the WolfWas the one i liked the most because it was funny.

it is something that i would probally do to a little kid. No, this was not similar to any other story i have read. He didnt really surprise me much, because there wasnt anything that really set him apart from any other author. He kind of used satire in this story by haveing the wolf dress up as the grandmother.

 

The Bear

 

I like this one the second most because it made me laugh. This really wasnt like any other story i have read. He is not surprising but he is showing me what makes him different from other authors, with the way he makes animals live human lives. He used satire by relating the bear to a drunk person.

i like this story because it reminds me of my little brother, who gets anything he wants becuase he is spoiled. No, this wasnt really similar to any other story that i have read. He surpirised me this time because he didnt talk about animals. He didnt really use satire in this one.
